This brand new Elitech Maxview fixed frame screen is specially designed for home theater usage. The screen features high quality construction of beveled, aluminum frame covered with beautiful plush black velvet. The screen's material is high quality professional grade High Contrast White, which is the most versatile and uniform screen surface for front projection. This material is best used when ambient light is controllable. It enables unlimited viewing angles with perfect uniformity while giving precise definition and color reproduction. Screen surface is washable with mild soap and water. The screen cloth is tightly mount on the frame to ensure its super flat Total case length (L): 98.5", Diagonal (D) = 106", View area height (H)= 52", View area width ( W) = 92", Frame width (B) = 3.25" Buyers beware: Some sellers are selling fixed frame screens with plastic frames. Please note that plastic material is not suitable for fixed screen's frame, it does not have the excellent elastic characteristic as the aluminum frame, and It is not as strong as aluminum frame. With the plastic frame, the screen cloth cannot be extended as tightly (to eliminate the wrinkles) as on the aluminum frame, and wrinkles will develop very easily. The plastic frame will develop material fatigue after a while, which make the frame subject to distort, bent or break under the high extension force of the screen cloth. The material cost and manufacture cost of plastic frames are much, much less than those of aluminum frame. Currently the plastic frame screens are selling at similar price as the aluminum frame screens, this is a completely stealing. Be careful on your expensive home theater investing, buy form reputable and professional seller, and do ask first the frame materials of the fixed frame screen that you want to buy!
