Seal dry food, wet food, bulk food, and even liquids with this Vollrath 40851 Grande chamber vacuum packing machine! Unlike out-of-chamber packaging machines which can only accommodate dry foods, the Grande's chamber design keeps air pressure equal both inside and outside the bag, ensuring that liquids remain locked inside. This, in conjunction with its 1.68 hp motor, ample vacuum chamber, and 16 5/16" sealing bar, allow the Grande to handle large quantities of foods including meat and vegetables, but also soups, stews, and other liquids. Thanks to a simple, easy-to-use control panel, the packaging process is a breeze! Its user-friendly digital display and button layout allows access to 10 programmed packaging functions to suit your individual needs, while a progress bar also shows you where the machine is in relation to completing the process. A dial gauge measures the vacuum level in the chamber during sealing. The vacuum packaging process can also increase the shelf life of refrigerated goods 3 to 5 times longer than normally expected, cutting down on wasted food. It also naturally aids in opening the pores in foods, which makes this in-chamber vacuum packaging machine ideal for quickly marinating meats or preparing foods for sous vide cooking. ETL Listed.
