The Standard SRN-9x is a proven, high-speed suction-feed rotary numbering system that produces clear number definition, even through multiple part sets, by ensuring positive point contact and easy platen pressure adjustment. As the head rotates, the numbering head is advanced, re-inked, and the number is offset directly to the sheet or set, just as on a press. You can repeat, skip and do multiple numbering without stopping the sheet, producing up to 36,000 impressions per hour. The Standard SRN-9x offers state-of-the-art design, rugged construction, and stand-alone operation -- freeing you from time-consuming numbering on-press. The rotary action delivers tremendous productivity gains versus impact numbering machines because the sheets don't stop during the numbering operation. The SRN can number, perforate, score and imprint simultaneously, with up to four numbering heads. You can operate backward, forward, convex or parallel heads together. Assurance of sequential numbering is ensures because the numbering machine won't cycle until a sheet is presented. The key to quality numbering begins with the Standard rotary design. Unlike crash-numbering systems, the Standard SRN-9x Rotary System provides superior print quality, even at extremely high speeds. As the head rotates, the numbering head is advanced, re-inked and the number is offset directly onto the sheet or set, just as on a press. The deflection that can cause shadowing is eliminated with this system because each numbering head is locked one a heavy-duty precision-ground steel shaft. What's more; the advanced inking system prevents other inking and resultant splash. You can guarantee clean number definition, even through multiple-part sets, be ensuring positive point contact and easy platen pressure adjustment for various stock thicknesses. A sophisticated sensing system can activate up to eight numbering heads, allowing both parallel and convex heads to be run simultaneously. You can also repeat, skip and do multiple numbering without stopping the sheet, giving you an unmatched level of productivity -- up to 9,000 sheets per hour. This wide format 38" laminator is capable of running all thermal laminating films thru 10 mil and is capable of laminating at speeds up to 7 FPM and can mount a wide variety of substrates as thick as 1/4". With a warm up of about 6 minutes the machine may be simply turned on when you need it, which translates into very significant annual energy savings. The included accessories on this machine, which are more orientated for a small to medium print shop or high performance laminating, include 3" supply mandrels, and welded steel stand. Our exclusive micro-adjustable slitters are available as an option for larger jobs. For the unusual situation where it is necessary to make multiple laminations side by side additional feed guides are also available as an option. This laminator is perfectly suited for applying, hot (thermal) laminates or with our optional liner take up assembly it is capable of applying cold (pressure sensitive laminates) as well. Due to the superior heat replacement characteristics of our exclusive patented Revolution Series heated roll system, the PL 238wf is particularly suited to simultaneous mounting and laminating on heat activated adhesive foam board. While providing the superior scratch and stretch free finish inherent with our heated roll technology, the bond is so aggressive that any attempt to peel off laminated material will result in total destruction of the foam board. If you are in the market for a machine with a 38" wide format capability, ease of operation and superior finish results at a reasonable price, this is the laminating machine for you. The standard PL-238wf package includes a stand, and 3" mandrels.
